O.k., we have a little track here in east Texas called Hallsville. I went out there to have some fun with some buddies of mine, no plans to race, but it was 10 bucks watch or run, so I figured might as well. First run 13.2 at 108, not bad. My light was .511 (first time ever on a christmas tree!) My 60' was 2.7. I have a stock suspenison with slapper bars. I did not build this car to be a racer, but I would like to know what it can do, so I gots to get it to hook. Any susgestions? I have 275/60/15 firehawk Indy 500's, muncie m-21 3.73 gears with a 450 horse 383. I am thinking this car shouyld run low to mid twelve's? Whatcha all think? I think i am going to put a tremac 5 speed in it also, that should help, right?

Well, the first thing you need to try is a set of DOT approved drag tires. I would recomend the radial style from BFG or Mickey Thompson if you plan to run them on the street. If you have an extra set of rims you could go with the ET Street of Hoosier Quick Time Pro.

It's hard to get a stick car to hook but you should run deep into the 12's if you can.

Good luck!
