my 69 z/28 sits 3/8-1/2" higher on right side than left side- all shocks are standard delco units (new)- should i replace the shocks all around, or do i have to change front springs? I would like a firmer shock, like a koni or equivalent. are there any chassis adjustments to be made to equalize ride height? thanks-

Shocks have no effect on ride height - they just dampen suspension motion. You may have a case of "spring sag". Or, if you have had suspension work done on the car, someone may have tightened front control arm or rear spring bushings on the passenger side with the wheels off the ground, "winding-up" the bushings, which will increase ride height (they're supposed to be tightened with the car on wheels, but it's not convenient to do it that way).

There are no chassis adjustments for ride height. The Delco shocks are calibrated for normal "boulevard" ride; if you want firmer jounce and rebound damping, there are lots of aftermarket shocks (KYB, Bilstein, Koni, etc.) that can provide it.
