well i cant really tell you if the springs would work with THAT cam or not. my gut felling is yes. however, i did get the upgrades for mine, and when my engine builder checked the upgraded springs (same spring your refering to) it was 140 closed and 380 open. i run a hyrdroller and get valve float at 6500

If I have done my calculating right , their springs rate is 381!
340-130 = 210
1.80-1.25 = .55
210/.55 = 381.8
Yes, your springs probably will work fine but I haven't really looked all that close at the stack solid thing...
But to please them, I would go with what they recommend OR, pull a fast one on them and go over to Competition Products, Lunati's or even CC and find the spring they want you to run AND buy it from whoever and not worry about it!!
Then go ahead and have the spring seats cut locally or rent the tools to do it yourself.. Jmho... pdq67
