I don't think a timing cover is a particularly rare piece but I would say $40-60. It does have a date correct for an early 1969 car but didn't pretty much all of the 350s have an 8 inch balancer back then?

Thanks Todd I found out that this type of cover was only used on Z28's and SS 350's.

What's the difference?
The timing tab is welded on the cover to accept an 8" ballancer, others are welded in position to accept a 6 1/4" ballancer.

Thanks, I have the numbers matching L48 in my car but I like to make sure everything is original.

That's what I have thanks. of all the cars I've had over the years this is the first one that hasn't been screwed with. it's kind of nice when everytime you check something out there's nothing to buy on ebay to make it right.
