Is there a trick or a easy way to reinstall the 1/4 glass and window track in a 67 door? I have the car back from paint, and now the time has arrived to put the car back together. Removing the vent glass and window track was a small task, but now I have to install it back without hurting the new paint.
Sugestions?

start with the wing window and make sure that you tape the top of the door so that if you do hit it you don't knick the paint. I use the blue painters tape instead of regular masking tape. The blue seems to come off easier. I am in the middle of adjusting the windows as well and from what I read on this site start at the wing and work your way back to the rear quarter. It takes time and a lot of patience which I am lacking both.

I started on the quarter windows and then the wing windows, last will be the door glass. defienitely tape up the edges of the door. be patient and take your time, you will end up tightening, loosening, snugging, moving the glas back and forth till you have it just right. if you get frustrated it's better to walk away and come back to it later!
