I am going to replace my clutch in my 69. I have a 350/300hp block with a Muncie M20 tranney. Does anyone know the disc size for this tranney? I do not know the year of the tranney does that matter?

Easy way to tell if you have a 10&1/2" or 11" clutch is to count the ring gear teeth on the flywheel. Someone could have changed the original over the years.

10&1/2" = 153 teeth on flywheel
11" = 168 teeth on flywheel

Hope this helps.

403 bellhousing = 10.5" clutch
621 bellhousing = most likely an 11" clutch but it IS possible to have a 14" flywheel that is drilled for a 10.5" clutch BUT that would be a rare exception to the general rule. Not a stock Camaro application. They were used back in the early 60's on some other body styles.

403 bellhousing = buy the clutch ahead of time.
621 bellhousing = buy the clutch ahead of time but hang on to the reciept! :D

Check the bolt pattern on your starter. If it is staggered, it is 168 tooth, if it is straight it is a 153(get reassurance cuase I might have flip flopped it but I think this is right).

Also, Mcleod makes an special pressure plate that accpets an 11 inch clutch for a 153 tooth flywheel....I have one, great clutch.
