I need to convert my booster to master cyl. push rod from short to the longer one. Is it just a matter of pulling the old out and inserting the new ? Can the booster remain on the car ? Any other precautions ???
Thanks

Yes it just pulls out of most Moraine boosters. Kelsey Hayes boosters don't pull out.
Usually it can be done with your fingers, some take a pair of pliers but very little effort. There is an O ring on the rod.
There is also a spacer you can throw into the master cyl to take up the extra space. Baer includes them with their kits, use as needed.

Thank you David, I appreciate your input. Yeah, mines 11" Delco/Moraine....think it's off of a mid 70's full size.. not sure. I pulled a little with my fingers and no movement...just didn't want to get the pipe wrench out w/o knowin what I'm doin first ;) So, hopefully a new O-ring won't be hard to find. I'm thinkin a slight shot of silicone spray for lube on installation, or something better ?
Thanks again !
