I have an L34 BB 396 with a Edelbrock Torker II Intake, 3" exhaust, and Holley 750 cfm. Currently the car has a really big loppy CAM. I am going to install a Hydrolic CAM kit this weekend. What performance can I expect from the new CAM with the specs below:
Chev BB
Duration @ .050": 214/222
Adv. Duration: 270/280
Lift: .514/.537
Lobe Sep: 112 Deg.
1200-5200 RPM
John that really is a tough question to answer. The car will be fine performance wise. Be realistic with what you are going to do with the car. Are you running the car?? Street car?? The Edelbrock Performer cam is from idle to 5500 rpm. What trans, what gears are also important questions that need to be answered.

The car is going to be a daily driver but I also want to be able to scare the passengers a little on take off. Transmission is a Muncie 21 and 3.73 gear
Nice, I would go with a little more cam. Just MHO.
