Will Jesel's SS shaft rocker system work on heads that require centerbolt valvecovers like Vortecs? Also, will this system work with a hydraulic lifter set-up?

not sure about the centerbolt deal- i waswondering the same thing myself.
and i can think of no reason why it wouldn't work with a hydraulic cam- hell, those rockers with a hydraulic roller cam and a rev kit would be the ultimate killer no maintainance street/strip setup.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking along the same lines but I've always gone the stock rockers with hydraulic flat tappet route and have no "real world" hands-on experience when it comes to the shaft-rocker set-up. I want to build an engine primarily for a cruiser that I'd take to the strip maybe three or four times a year. I'm sure the shaft-rocker system is overkill but I like the design/ engineering behind it. I was hoping that someone had tried them on a set of vortec heads and could share their experiences with the installation and answer questions concerning self aligning rocker issues/guide plates and push rods?? I want to know how deep the water is before I jump in. smile.gif

well I know the jesel's are being used on LT1's
you can always get the adapters for perimeter valve covers if needed
the hydra-rev kit is awesome
to me the shaft mounts are overkill (am considering for my solid roller LT1 when $ allows)
but hey, peace of mind is worth something too

They have a specific set for the LT1 and Vortecs that clear the centerbolt heads; not the standard small block set. At least that's the way it is with T&D. I just ordered mine the other day.
