Too many drag type tires.
They need to have some tread not like et streets.
Sportsman pro, sportsman I, indy s/s
bfg drag radials
nitto drag radials
I'm looking for some traction as opposed to no traction.
What do you guys like in an eight to ten inch tire?

ProTrac tires which you can get thru Coker. They are biased belted, and we usually drop the pressure down to about 12-15 lbs and they do very good traction wise. These are street tires but they do look sharp

if its a 13 second car (one in your sig), then a bfg drag radial or a nitto should do just fine, plus they have better street manners. next step from there would be a sportsman pro or hoosier quicktime dot. i have seen bfg drag radials on low 11 second cars, but i'm thinking they are leaving something on the table as far as traction goes. just my .02

if your looking for a full treaded tire the hoosier quick time is a good street/drag tire they are a very soft compound and hook good but they will wear out quick if you beat on them. if you get caught in the rain they will work ok unlike the drag radial and neto. but those two tires are good for street racing. ive gone 11.2 120mph with the hoosiers. graemlins/hurray.gif

I also have the Nitto 555Rs on my car....275/60/15....i can be going very slow and romp down on it, and they will barely spin, they just hook really hard.
