68 stock control arms with new bushing......I did a search and found someone who was having trouble getting them in....with the new bushing, the fit is tight to say the least.....the prior post really offered no "tricks" or "tips" to get them in...other to keep working at it.....
So.....anyone done it recently and have any ideas to get them in without too much trouble? (and without dropping the car on my head)
Any thoughts would be appreciated.....
Thanks in advance

Did you ever solve this problem?? I can't get either LCA back in after pressing in new bushings.
Anyone else have this problem??

Take a short piece of threaded rod , two washers and two nuts. Assemble the rod with washers against frame and nuts inside so you can turn the nuts to expand the pocket that the arm goes into. Hope my description is clear enough to get the idea.

First off grease up the ends really well...
I used a BFH to get them part way in, then I put a jackstand under the arm and lowered the car until the weight pushed it all the way in.

I had to do the same with aftermarket control arms:
