I just completed the installation of the hot cam kit in my zz3. I have heard the air gap mani is a good one and would like to know if anyone has put the air gap on a zz3 and seen any difference?

Well, yeah, I'm using one on my ZZ430 replica.
I love it, but many will say the Air-Gap is only hype. I believe Edelbrock says "Up to 10 HP" over the standard RPM manifold.
Compared to the "stock" ZZ4 (or ZZ3) manifold, you will see a higher RPM potential for sure.
Anything that keeps hot oil off the bottom of the plenum is a good thing.

ZZ is correct here. After talking with Edel engineers on the subject the cooler air is not the only reason that the VE is improved. It's the slightly different runners designs as well. I have friends with dyno numbers that tell the story of 10+ hp on the AG model. Edel keeps on tickin away at Ve like no other me thinks.

I have heard only good things about the AirGap. Granted, I have one too but, I can't give you any technical data to justify why I like it. Like ZZ430 says, keeping the hot oil off the bottom of the plenum is a good thing.
