If I turn my driveshaft exactly 1 and 1 half turns, my wheel turns exactly 1 turn. Anyone have an idea what the gear ratio would be? thanks 62Rodent

put a piece of gum or something on the driveshaft and watch it more carefully...

i think if you have an open diff. you have to double the number of turns you get at the driveshaft for one turn of the wheel.
in that case you would have a 3:1. which means you probably have the 3.08:1 gears.

you could always take the cover off and look for a stamp, or count the teeth.

ohcscott is correct if only one tire is moving then you have to double it, also try rotating a 2 or 3 tire revolutions to give you a more accurate reading.
