Anybody running a Mallory Pro-master coil on a First Gen?

Where did you mount the Po-master coil?

Have you got any pics?

I'm looking at the pass side sitting on the heater core cover.

I have a 68 camaro and that is the same place I mounted mine... Worked out good and kept the coil wire close to the distributor... Should work out fine for you.. Sorry, no pictures...

Same here, but my a/c suitcase is gone along with all the associated heater parts. Works great too! Sorry, no pics here either.

Did you mount it horizontally or vertically?

I was looking at it and if mounted vertically, it looks like it may be a slight bit above the hoodline.

Mine is vertical but since my firewall was bare (no heater box or a/c box) the height was not an issue.

That's where I put mine also, right on top of the heater core cover........KZ
