Since I am not concerned about originality and have a new headliner about to go in, I would like to put the sail panel lights from a 67 deluxe interior in my 69.
I know I would need the lights and the harness but will this addition work w/o too many problems?
How do the lamps attatch to the sail panel, clips (?) I would need to buy?
Did these go along with a dome light in the 67's or did these replace the dome light? It wouldn't bother me to lose the overhead dome but if the harness is set up for an overhead too...
I guess in short, will it work and what would I need to make it work...

Thanks!!

There is not dome light in the 67 deluxe interior, just the sail panel lights. That is why a lot of us with 67s are installing the under dash courtesy lights.
The sail panel light fixture screws to the interior sail panel sheet metal. In fact the light fixture secures the sail panel in place more the the clips. Below is a picture of my sail panel where the light go. I am not sure if 69s have holes for the lights.

Thanks Roger...I think this may end up being an easy 'update.'

Now I'm sure I just jinxed myself by saying that...
