I got my new Calvert Racing drag shocks installed on the rear. What setting are you guys using for drag racing?

I'd call Calverts and get their advice for settings to start. I hear they're pretty good if you give them your setup. Let me know how you like them, they're on my short list of things I need.

They are likely going to tell you to start at 5 (middle). Watch the car closely (slow motion video). If it hooks for a foot or 2 then spins, go 2 clicks stiffer. If it spins right on the hit, loosen. If it dead hooks, leave it alone.:thumbsup:

Greg, you are just going to find out what works best on your car,no two are the same. Settings can also change with the conditions. Experiment! Good luck, you made a good choice on shocks.

Agree with the above posts. You'll need to adjust them for your specific setup. Sneak up on the proper setting. I have mine on the stiffest setting and the bars in the lower hole.

That worked great Greg, I started @ 7 & it spun the tires instantly & headed for the wall :o corrected & missed a shift & coasted through @ an 11.64. Loosened up to a 5 & it spun just a tad & ran a 11.086 @ 120.05 CalTracs coming in next week, I think I can get this car in the 10's. Thanks again for the advice.:yes:
