does anyone know the true horse power and torque out of a LS7 crate motor with iron heads whats this capable on the 1/4 mile with a 4 speed. thanks for any info

Don't have exact numbers but think was in the 600hp range right out of the crate with just a set of good four tube, long headers on it to help it breathe!

Heck an L-88 was good for like 540/550hp or so with headers!

Without serious chassis work all you will do is melt the tires. If you ever do hook it just about everything from the flywheel back will be changed often.
