Ok I have a tubular crossmember for my TKO 600. I have Dynatech stepped longtubes and the passenger side extension pipe runs right into the crossmember. The driver's side fits fine. It has all new engine mounts and body bushings. I would rather not "modify" the exhaust. I was searched around for a boxed crossmember with notches for the exhaust and came across these guys. BSP - Brooks Specialty Products - Aluminum Transmission Crossmembers, Conversion Accessories, and Automotive Chassis Components (http://brooksspecialtyproducts.com/crossmembers.html) Have not had a chance to call them but was wondering if anybody ever used them?

Thanks
Derek

The Keisler crossmember clears the Dynatech big headers and Dynatech 3" exhaust by a mile. I'm sure they'd be happy to sell you one. Call Jeff at 888-609-0070 ext. 210 and he'll take care of you. Don't mention my name though or he'll really take care of you. Also my pinion angle wound up at 0.5 degrees difference between trans and rear with their setup. It's a SBC on OEM-type 350 frame stands and mounts.

Gottem thanks..I have the same heads as you too. There really is alot of room with that one. The one I have is tubular and kinda goes straight across with a slight angle up to the subframe. It fits fine on the driver's side but the passenger's side comes across inline with top 15% of the collector. I know other brand headers have not been that big of an issue maybe alittle massaging but they also do not tuck up as close to the floor as the dynatechs from what i have heard.

and will ask him!!!:D

Where did you get the tubular crossmember?

Maybe they won't gig you too bad. If you mention Team Camaro they might give you a discount or something. They do on the kits anyway and offer to beat prices. Tell him you found a crossmember for a dollar.

I bought the whole kit from Prodigy Customs...I already spoke with Frank and he said they have never had any considerable issues but also have never used Dynatech headers. He did offer to look at pics and offer his advice if I wanted.

I will give you guys a call now..do you have a direct extension or should I speak with Jeff...and find out what he is wearing??;)

Just saw it in your sig....

Go ahead and ask for Jeff his extension is 210. I would be afraid to ask him what he is wearing.

If you have a big block, make sure the mount is offset to the passenger side. Many aftermarket crossmembers are not.
