I am getting close to paint and want to take a look at a couple of options for my car.
Who can do the pictures of camaros with a specified paint scheme? Without costing a fortune?

thanks
Matt

Search this forum for paint colors, and search google under images for camaro renderings

I was pissing around on photoshop with my Camaro inspired by a Billet Specialties rendering. I don't know what year you were looking for but here is a blank canvas so to speak.

Thanks Nafets, Mine is a 69 but that may give me an idea - now to learn photshop!

Nor-Cal good idea I searched around and found a group of guys over at musclerides.com but they all look to be professional (read expensive $300 and up) but I will keep looking

I am trying to see what a 69 hardtop black, black vinyl roof, no spoiler, cowl hood with a dark grey metallic hockey stick stripe would look like

wheels are torque thrust type with black center and polished rim

its that or my original scheme -Daytona Yellow w black vinyl roof

Well, this should give you an idea what the black on black looks like. Personally, I love it. As I just stated in one of my recent posts, next car is going to be a '69 with either a 10 10 or 10 B paint code.

Matt, sadly, it's not mine. It's a photo from that guy on eBay who builds up a ZL-1 or COPO clone for you. It's definitely a great looking car. That one is a ZL-1 clone.

Hey Matt, for $50 you can download HOK digital paintbooth and choose your vehicle and paint it all day long with all the different colors and graphics. I did it and think it's great. The only problem.... too many choices and ideas kept coming up. I think it's well worth the $50. www.hokdigitalpaintbooth.com/demo

I too downloaded it. However I found it to be overpriced. The tool is fairly primitive, the color rendering is fair at best, and they limit me to one car(not that there is any other car besides the Camaro of course;)).

For around the same money I could get a photo editor and accomplish the same thing and have my choice of cars and photo angle.

Someone really should come up with a program similar to Google's "sketch up", then load several different models of vehicles in it and sell it to people like us that want to do renderings. My son is pretty good with sketch up, so we're going to use it to work on my 67 rendering pretty soon. I know sketch up looks very CGI, but it is better than nothing and doesn't cost $300!
