: "HEI wires" is the only difference the terminal ends? zlek131 May 24th, 10, 08:24 PM I have a good set of MSD red 8.5MM HEI (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-31779/) spark plug wires. Will these work on non-HEI distributor like MSD 85551 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-85551/)? I think the only difference is the dizzy side terminal end on the wire, right? Are there any other differences? The wires seem to snap on to the MSD dizzy just fine... Steiner May 24th, 10, 08:30 PM HEI, right? As long as the cap has male terminals they usually consider that HEI style. Actually, check the cap style in the link you posted.
