I just got off the phone with Art Carr performance products, and I must say that I am very impressed with what the sales man had to say. I was shopping for a torqu converter. THeir units are all custom made and the offer a 2 year warrenty and If i decide that the stall speed is not what I need or I change my combo later on I can send it back to them and they will change the stall speed free of charge. :D
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this company or running these converters? Also another cool perk is that they give us military guys a discount. :D

I had good luck with a 10" Art Carr 'verter behind a 427 in a 67 Chevelle.

I have only good things to say about them. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

May I ask if you are talking about the real Art Carr or the company that bought his business or some such thing??

You might check if not the real Art Carr..

Art Carr sold out several years back and then went back into business about 3 years ago because of what the old company had turned into.. He will speak to anyone that wants to verify that they have the real McCoy on the line. At least he did last year.
