this winter i would like to clean out the doors and lexan the two side windows in my 3rd gen f body camaro. the question is how much weight will this remove and will the doors be fairly strong after this process. these doors have electric windows. car is front heavy will this lighten front some? car is race only .

Have you asked over at "Second Generation Camaro Owners Group" too?? They may have a better idea to help you b/c we are mainly a First Gen. site. I see more late model car questions over there then here..

I don't have any idea what weight would be lost replacing your door windows. Your doors are very close to the mid section of the car. What loss in weight found there isn't going to effect the front end. I don't think the windows have any effect on the strength of the doors.
www.thirdgen.org (http://www.thirdgen.org) has a racing section within it's forums. I think www.camaroz28.com (http://www.camaroz28.com) does also. As pdq points out you're welcome to post here.
