I would like you guys to give me an opinion on this engine combo and price. It is a 377 and I'm told it is 400 with a 350 steel crank and either x or o rods. ARP bolts TRW flat top forged pistons, chrome molly rings crane roller cam with crane roller rockers. The guy did not remember what the cam specs were, but he will find out.It has Bow Tie heads, Victor Jr. intake 750 Holly With vac secondarys. Also has a 8 quart Moroso oil pan with the flair out on so it does not hang down quite as low as others. It has about 4000 miles on it, and he wants $1600.00 for it. I would be putting in my 69 Camaro. What do you guys think. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like a good price to me for a lot of killer parts. Any chance of hearing it run first? Why is he selling it? As long as it didnt suffer a major explosion (like a broke crank, thrown rod, or dropped valve) then it sounds like a good deal.

I'm totally with Travis. Have it written that you must hear it run, before the deal is done. Check for noises and ol pressure.
Other than that, sounds like a buy!
