Guys,A friend of mine has a 4-bolt motor out of an 82 chevy 4x4 pick up,is this a good block to build for the street,and is this an 010 block.Another thing ,is the oil dipstick on the driver side or the pass. side,,Thanks for the help Camaro BOB,,,

Dipstick would be on driver side.
Casting numbers are located on bellhousing pad/end just below driver cylinder head at the rear.
As with any older block, should be well-seasoned.
