Well im in the midst of my engine buildup and so far have put 1 rumor to rest....the Eagle crank mic'd out fine i have between .0021 and .0023 on all my mains except the rear wich is a little on the loose side but its fine. Also have .0014 rod side clearance. Right now im trying to get my spiro locks in my SRP's and i cant get em. I tried for a half hour to get just 1 in and i cant figure it out....how are you guys doing it? Let me know.

-350 .040 over
-11:1 compression
-4340 rods/crank
-billet splayed 4 bolt caps and front cap
-Erson solid 302/310 dur, 264/272@.050, .562lift, on a 108
-Brodix RR 200 heads, titanium retainers, CNC chambers With Crower enduro SS roller rockers.
-Weiand Team G {Current} i think im going to get the new world motown intake soon.
-800 DP for now but im getting a 750 Mighty Demon soon.
-Out some 1 7/8" hooker Supercomps {may get some 1 3/4 if i run across some for a good price} out a 3"exaust
-Richmond 5 speed 3.28 first gear
-9" ford with 4.11 gear detroit locker and moser axles.
All this in my 3250lb 73' Nova. It should run hard once i get the tuning worked out smile.gif just thought id ask a question and let yall know how im coming, thanks in advance

Do a search here or at the second gen site. You have to stretch the spirolocks out before you try to install.www.nastyz28.com

Jim hit it on the spot. Grab them and stretch them out like a spring. Then get one end started and spiral it in with a small screwdriver. Once you get the hang of it it takes about a minute per piston. Now getting them out is another story smile.gif

BTDT (read my "spirolocks suck" post). These guys are right...stretch them out about 3/4" and it makes all the difference in the world. Do it wrong and them things are some real finger manglers (but you probably already knew that, right tongue.gif ).
