I did a 68 years ago and sold it like a dummy!! Now i have picked up 68 plan jane so i dont have to worry about making it factory. I am a little overwhelmed on this one needs almost all metal work i am going to be making a jig in next couple weeks. My question is where should i start on the metal work? floor pans and work out and up? Any suggestions let would help. Below is listing of parts i know need replaced.

Floor pan
Rockers
quarters
section of roof

that is what i know for new till i start blasting!
Thanks in advance!!

First off, welcome to the site

As far as projects go, each usually has a sequence that makes more sense to some than others once you get going on it.
Sometimes because of work area, money, time or ???

I would suggest you start by searching/reading through a few of the great threads on here by others doing the exact work you're looking at.
Here's just one - http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=121480
Join in the threads and ask questions - the poster will be glad to help to you I'm sure - it's the nature of this site!

I can general tell you that you're going to want ot study the car for damage.
Stabilize the structure well - by jig or bracing or both.
And then begin the archiology of finding out what needs to be removed to get to what you need/want to replace.

Take LOTS of photos allong the way !!!
Both for us :D and for future reference.
Start a thread like some of the others with your project, proposal and progress and have others chime-in with information and guidance as you go.

I think you'll be surprized how smooth things go if you plan ahead and use good techniques and information along the way

Thanks for the reply i am really looking forward to doing this again. I have talked wife into letting me build a garage for it. I did that last summer i did a 32X40 as a shop. Of course i had to get a second job. I am going to take alot of pictures and start a thread. Everyone on here is great help with each other not a bashfest like most boards.
Thanks again for reply
