I am slowly trying to make my 69 Camaro handle better. So far I have got Hotchkis lowering springs, 12"front brakes, And big F/R sway bars. Currently I am working on finding an Iroc steering box and will do the Guldstrand mod when I do the steering box. But until then I am looking at getting new shocks. Right now the car has an Iron headed big block but I plan on swapping that out for a LS1/T56 in a couple years.

What would be some of the best performance shocks out there? I'm not as concerned about ride quality as I am with making the car handle the best it can. I want something that will work best with the LS1.

Also, any other suggestions on suspension upgrades?

I have never heard of them. Are they adjustable? And who sells them?

Any other suggestions? What about Koni's or QA1's?

I have the Hotchkis/Bilstein's in the front, and soon in the rear to match up with my Hotchkis springs. I am very happy with them.

I did the Iroc Box, complete front end rebuild, Hotchkis Springs/Shocks and what a difference. Now on to the rear!

You can get your 92 IROC steering box at Autozone for $126. Then you will need the adapters and a new rag joint you can get from Lee's.

I plan on getting that box ordered in the next few weeks. I imagine that will be a HUGE improvement over manual steering.
