: Leafs or Coil?

I installed new 5 leaf rear springs and BB front coils. All new poly bushings and the car with BB engine has been setting for a year. All suspension is loose. Took it for its maiden 500 foot drive down the street with the frame off restoration 90% complete. The car is 1 inch lower on the left side. On the right the rear is 28 1/2 from the floor to the wheel well, the left is 1 inch lower. The same with the front. Car sits up a little too high. Tires are BFG 235-60-15 on the rear and 215-70-14 on the front with Weld Drag lites. Now how to determine what is causing the issue and then to fix. I think the front right coil may not be in the pocket causing the left rear to sag? The car is all original sheetmetal and has never been in a serios accident. Frame is fine. Car was level when before I started the resto. What do you guys think?

I am assuming you are including the body mount bushings between the subframe and body when you say you installed new poly bushings? If not, this may affect it, but I believe it is most likely you are correct and the front spring is not properly in the pocket. These things don't always sit 100% level even if everything is right, but if it was level before, that seems most likely to me. Perhaps someone more knowlegeble will chime in with better advice. Good luck!

Definitely check that the spring is seated correctly and that the end is visible in the small inspection hole at the top of the pocket (near the upper control arm mount).

You can search "coil spring" with my username for some discussion on correcting the driver side lean. For my car, after the new springs were installed correctly and I decided I wanted it a little lower and to get rid of the lean, I cut just a little less coil off the driver side, and it leveled everything out nicely.
