Anyone ever use this oil line kit for a BB ?? What is the sleeve for??? Here is the link:

Its in the AIM on page U17 A3 . In the picture its the middle brass fitting that goes on the metal line then screws into the one on the left and that one screws into the block fitting. The nut on the right goes on the metal line first to screw on the big brass fitting shown on the plastic line . don't forget to get the mounting bracket and grommet .

Thanks Mark! Having a tough time understanding the AIM. Looks like two different locations for the oil fitting, one on the block by oil filter and one by the distributor ? Also it looks like a metal oil line comes with the kit ?? Can't figure out where bracket# 8 is attached to?

The bracket bolts to a hole just behind the last exhaust manifold bolt . The intake location is for small block . The AIM is drawn showing both big and small blocks .

So the metal oil line comes out of the block fitting and then attaches to the plastic line with a compression union (at the bracket) then. The correct grommet location is by the distributor it seems.

Anyone have a picture of this setup?? It seems the metal tube must be bent to fit. I just want to make sure. Thanks
