Restoring my 67 RS Camaro. Installed the Headlight system will all new parts to include new wiring harness, new limit switches, motors, relays, and circuit breaker. the right side door open and closes fine, but the left opens and the motor does not stop running when the hinge hits the limit switch on the core support. Whats wrong with it?

Also, the signal lights do not blink and the wiper motor does not work. HELP.

Thanks

Eric

Thats a lot of problems.

Check the grounding/wiring of your errant limit switch. Also, even though the switch is new it may be faulty.

Make sure your blinker is plugged in and works (little silver can clipped onto dash just right of the steering column).

Ensure the ground strap of your wiper motor is making good connection. Try a temp ground using a short length of wire from the motor case to the firewall. Unless your wiper motor is kaput, most faulty wiper motor issues are bad groundings.

I finally got the headlight doors to open and close properly. Thanks guys. The wires on the left headlight motor were switched around...Freeking poor quality repop motors. Dont they do quality control at the production faciltiy??? Go figure.
