The sound you want will be subjective, I would recommend anyone who wants a specific sound to listen to cars at cruises, shows, races, wherever. Ask the owners of the cars you like what they have. Try and find cars similar to the one you want that way there will be no unpleasant suprises when you finally install the system on whatever car you finally purchase. Good luck.

not nit picking, but RS didn't come stock with 350's. they were only in z28s or iroc-z. i thought i would let you know that so you were not searching for a 350 RS that doesn't exist. someone correct me if i am wrong.

remember sound will change with motor upgrades.flowmaster makes a nice cat back, but with out headers not alot of differance from dynomax turbo's.(in my opinion)

There is no way that anyone will be able to tell you what you want to hear.Thru the guys helping on this board, reading dozens of magazine reviews and tests, listening to wave files off the net and listening to a ton of cars at local shows I came close to what I wanted. Then everything that you change will change the tone again. Engine, cam, heads, valve size, pipe size, pipe length, exit point, number of turns etc. will all affect how it sounds. Trust me, I'm on my fifth version of my exhaust system and still tinkering. The biggest factor by far is the brand of muffler, Flowmaster, Dynomax,Borla, Flowtech and so on. Good Luck.
