Well it's a couple years old but the price was right. I took the truck on trade for some work I did, so really it was free. It's a 1977 F150 4x4 Ranger XLT that has been sitting in a pasture for the last 7 years because the owner thought the fuel pump was bad. The pump was fine, the problem was a cracked fuel line. I drained the old green gas out of both tanks, added some fresh fuel and a battery and it started right up and runs great.
It should make a good work truck for me.

The mice really seem to like pasturized vehicles too. They must not have much self respect if they will live in a Ford.
Today I cleaned the carb and installed a new accelerator pump, installed a fancy chrome Edelbrock air filter, changed the oil, and installed a uber awesome camouflage seat cover I picked up at WalMart:D
I was surprised to find the old truck has a Edelbrock carb and intake and I found paperwork in the glove box saying the engine had been replaced in 2000.
Once I track down a drivers side door glass and either a rubber floor mat or carpet I will really be big pimping in this bad boy;)
