There has been some interest for a get together in the area. I say we do it soon, because if we dont summer will have passed before we know it. Maybe somewhere mid to late Aug in between the long weekends. The options are endless. Everyone welcome!!

How does the first week in september work for everyone? I possibly have a location in Burnaby if its not too far. It is at the corner of Byrne rd and SW. Marine drive. Its at an old movie set where they filmed some scenes for the movie Watchmen. It was used to shoot some downtown New York footage. Looks like an abandoned city and would be cool for some pics of our cars. Just a thought.

The date is Sat Sept 11. Maybe meet for breakfast or lunch first..??? Send me your thoughts. Im still working on the location in Burnaby. They are filming a movie there now, and should be finished in time. I will keep you posted, but in the meantime I will work on an alternate if all fails.

Just a note that guys meet every Friday evening at the Canadian Tire in North Van. Just an option if required.

Well looks like Pat and I are holding the torch. We went for a spin today. Last cruise of the summer. Next years let's try to get us all hooked up together. Hey Pat it was great fun and reminded me how much fun it is to hang out with other Camaro guys and talk about our cars. As we all know most non Camaro people just don't get it, and you can't really discus all your crazy ideas with non Camaro people.

There are great spots for phots up there. I went up there after we took the pictures and it was great. We'll have to put the presure on the other guys to join in.

I don't think so. I think we should start planning so we can make it happen for sure. I think it is too long over due. We should pick a central location so we can all the guys from the interior, the Island and Vancouver together. BBQ or something. I might have a location.

There is a fathers day show called Sunday in the Park. I think it is in Chilliwack? I might be able to create a Camaro section. That would be kind of cool.

you are probably right, that is a good idea a smaller, casual gathering might be better for a meet. maybe just pick a shady park and " take over " the parking lot unofficially...
