I'm running these heads on my 355 with an XE274 cam. I like the heads very much, and the cam! The engine pulls hard up to 6000rpm. You can check out more info on my webpage... link in my signature.

I just ordered a set but don't have them installed ( or here yet). I think they're a great price/performance value.

John, did you get straight or angle plugs?

Mine are straight plug. Even so, there are a few plugs that are very close to my dynomax headers. I'm looking into getting some plug boot insulators for those.

Well to respond to boodlefoofs question in a different post, I talked to 2 or 3 people that all said protoplines flow numbers were way bogus, first person was a local head porter that has been around for 30 years called Gromm, he seemed like a very opinonative person but still knew his stuff, he said he has flowed a couple sets of there heads that came in for a port job, he said they flowed way worse than advertised. He said they tried calling the company but they got shrugged off, then he said he had heard from a felllow friend the same thing, his friend said that the owner wasn't a very nice guy. Then I talked to a head desinger at AFR, who actually used to sell the toplines, he said there numbers were way bogus, and that there was no way they flowed what they claimed, he even said that some of there bigger heads(220CC) don't even flow as much as there smaller heads advertised numbers. I heard from another person that the way they desinged the heads makes them a weak casting, something about they tried to create a different style port design but in a stock type casting?? not sure on that one, wasn't paying attention when i was told about it. They still seem like decent heads for the price, but for a little more you could have a better head IMO.
