I am looking for a set of heads & alt bracket for my May/68 build Z28, I found out mine are 69 & newer. Also are there any differences between the position of the thermostat housing opening on the alum intakes on the 67-69 Z28's. Thank you. lorne

Heads will be or should be relatively easy to find but prices will vary widely depending on where you are buying and to what has or needs to be done to them. I would check with your local Automotive machine shop to get an idea of what it would cost to do a set of heads plus if you have to purchase valves, springs, etc... The alt. brackets I do not see advertised very often and when they do they go for pretty good money. The last set a couple months ago went for around $225 but you can purchase reproduction sets that retail for around $60 I think. I believe the therm. housing opening is the same on both the 67/68 Z intake compared to the 69 Z intake.
