I was on Sallee Chevrolets website today and they had a new set of Sportsman II heads, 64cc, 200cc, 2.02, 1.6 valves. With 1.47 springs with 125# seat and up to .600" lift. The deal was right so i bought them. I have used these heads before but only the single spring heads.
My question is: These heads are good to .600" lift and 125#seat pressure. The comp cam I am looking at ir the XE286H cam and it says it is 132#seat at 1.75 installed height. This o.k.right. the seat pressure should be higher then the head seat pressure right?

Call Sallee Chevrolet and get the exact spring specs (find out what brand and PN if you can). Then call Comp and make sure the springs you have will work.

In general its better to have a little too much spring pressure than not enough.
