I have a set of dynomax ceramic coated headers. The passenger side is right up against the floorboard, while the driver side hangs low. I've been told that's normal for camaros. Is that true or just cheap headers? It's a 68 camaro. I already checked the search forum.

the driver's side header of that brand hangs lower, to fit a lot of cars. i think they did that to clear the tranny crossmember on 78 and newer Malibu's and Monte's, due to the fact that those cars don't have a hump on the driver's side.

Hooker Comps are the same way! I have a lowered '68 with all the running gear tucked up as tight as possible and the left header is at least 3" lower at the back than anything else on the car!

Who makes a tighter fitting header?

My hooker super comps are the same way, I'm on my second set, the body shop flattened a couple of tubes pulling my 68 out of repair paint prep area of there shop, had the second set shortened up and then sent them to jethot for a coating
