I am restoring a 67 RS with a fold down seat. The knucklehead I bought it from cut out the rear deck and partition between the fold down seat and the trunk. I am trying to determine what it is supposed to look like. I have seen pictures with the flat partition cover in place but that does me no good. I am trying to get a look at the structural bracing. I have nothing between the wheel wells from the window frame down. Any help would be great. If you know of a place that sells that would be even better. I looked at Classic and they sell the rear deck but it does not seem to make the turn down to the floor pan/trunk pan area. Thanks, Ted

all the sheet metal is the same, less the hooks for the seat back, there are many pictures of these people restoring and installing the package tray, and X braces.

The package tray and the "v" braces are the same with a fold down seat as regular. I think I have pics of the track that the bottom of the cardboard partition goes into on Photobucket but it won't let me in there now. I have a 69 of course but I think they are all the same except the upholstery.

How did I not notice that one part of the bracing is in front of the flap on the package tray when I took that picture?:clonk:

I did a search at Belairbob's and found two of the three things I think you need.

If you call and ask him he might know if the track for the partition is being repoped, he's great to deal with and takes care of us TCer's.
