I just got home, Was with Air Ride all weekend at Run Thru The Hills. Bret (owner of Air Ride) and I kicked back a few (to many) chilled beverages!
As for your question, In G Machine applications we use a 200LB spring in most applications (depending on how your car is dressed). If the car is light, maybe 170s?
The shocks and springs are included in the kit so you do not have to worry about shock size and spring rate. that is our job. But to answer your question, we use a 17" shock and a 12" spring.

frank what spring rate would you run for more of a straight line car. 150lb? too light? Race weight is 3700lb. Spring rate up front is 600lb if that helps.

Depends on rear weight. I run 110s and 130s on my 3450LB Street Racer. I say 110s and 130s because I go back and forth. I think I have settled on the 130s now. Assuming your rear weight is 45% (1650LBS), mine is 48% making mine 1650LBS, I would try 130s on yours also. Also on a straight liner I would rather error on the light side.
I ASSUME this is a big block car, maybe iron head big block to be so heavy? What I would question is 600s on the front of a straight liner. I would want a softer spring and more stored energy for launches. I would most likely be looking at 500s, 550s at the absolute most on the front assuming a 2000LB front weight
