i just read an advertisment with those bowtie valve covers.
the TALL version are about 197 bucks the SHORT version is like 267 bucks!

why is the tall one cheaper?

They were the first and most produced valvecover for the 18* cylinderhead. Now they make a shorter version at the price the tall were when they first came out years ago.
