I have popping on left side muffler.I changed plugg wires, check valve while runnig, looks ok,checked valve lash ok.Is this a flat lobe,or bad valve.Almost new dart pro heads, solid lifter cam been in about 2k.What else do I check.Thanks.Also checked for header leaks.

pop the valve covers and see how much each rocker moves. flat cam lobe = no (or little) rocker movement.

I had an issue similar to that. I used a brass tiped fuel push rod and it got eaten up. I tried everything to fix it. I droped the fuel pump and when I did all the brass was gone. It was causing a thumping or ticking noise. Put in factory steel push rod and the noise is gone.

I agree with Joe, remove that valve cover and have a buddy turn it over.
Very easy to spot a flat cam with the covers off.
Here is what mine looked like for reference.

Your video shows it all. I lost a cam just recently for the first time. No reason for it and it was catastrophic. 7 lobes went away in about 45 minutes of run time. Stuffed the new cam in with same break in lubes and its ok?

Yes. Engine was cleaned. And yes...metal was everywhere. I started another thread on what I found on this cam. It looks to be "soft" maybe a bad heat treat.
