hey guys, Im changing from a th-350 to a munci and i am almost done until i got to the starter. i am using an 11 inch clutch with a hays flywheel and a lakewood blow-proof bellhousing with block protector. orig. starter will not work but it looks like a CSI or powermaster from summit would be the eaiset choice but would like some opions. thanks.

Go with the CSI gear reduction starter. Light weight and lots of power.

Another vote for the CSI, it's a great starter for a great price.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing only with a 10 1/2" cluch. Will I have the same starter problems? I am removing a power slide!
Dan.

I believe you will because as you will soon discover a flywheel is bigger than a flex plate even though you can have the same amount of teeth 168 or 153.
