My double axle trailer that was stolen Nov 09 cut my chain and lock. So weird how I found it too. I went to go pick up a part for my riding lawnmower they did not have the part said I would have to drive to the next town to pick it up if i wanted it today. I left there and went down a street I hardly ever go down and low and behold this trailer parked in a lot caught my eye. Different rims , my 2 X 12 boards had been changed and so did the shaft where you crank it up but you can not fool me .. I knew that was my trailer for i knew all of its flaws on the frame. I went to the police station which was only about 1/2 a mile from where it was parked. Tried so hard to convince the detective that this was my trailer. Since it was homemade and i purchased it from my friend with no title but with a bill of sale. I had alot of pictures and videos of me transporting cars and such.

Well the detective investigated and ran the plates that were on it .. the plates came back stolen .. they contacted the owner of the lot and found out whos it was and it turned out I knew the guy !!!!! but he said he purchased it from some guy "he told me his name and I recognized the name aswell" for 600 bucks .. he turned over the trailer with no problem to the detective and i got my trailer back. I told they guy .. IM sorry he lost out of 600 bucks .. he was not that upset.. told me he was sorry.

I told the officer i did not want to press charges i just wanted it back... maybe someone needed it to make money moving things... .. i dont know maybe im just strange or i have a good heart :o

and just Yesterday ............. make it short...my friend is really into church and they just moved into a bigger church with a bigger yard and I was giving my friend an extra craftsman mower that my dad gave me .. he said if I would donate it to his church I said "sure" .. so i fixed it up and it works GREAT !! dropped it off last night, and he said they needed to move from the old church to new church with all there stuff and wished I still had my 16 ft trailer and today I got it back .. once again that was yesterday .. someone rewarded me today.:yes:

I told my friend .. they are welcome to use it whenever they want !:D

WOW, good news, Robert! Usually when something gets stolen, it's gone for good. Glad you got it back without much hassle. Where have you been lately???

Hey Brian !! sorry buddy .. I transfered to Lubbock Tx... PLEASE dont ask .. LOL .. i had my reasons but I did .. I still live in Harlingen I just work in Lubbock... So I fly out Sat morn.. 6am flt connect in DFW arv Lubbock at 920am... I work all day that day till 11pm .. sleep a few hrs.. go back in at 430 am - 11pm Sunday, and monday 430am - 6pm .. then I jump on a 620 pm flt out of Lubbock and im back home in Haringen by 1020pm monday night ... so all in all .. I work 40 + hrs in 3 days and im at home sleeping in my bed monday night - Friday night.

So im pretty busy those days and Tuesday I like to sleep to atleast noon. im tired , im beat and all of this commuting / flying is really taking its toll on me man .. :confused:

but im still here .. I always peak in here usually just to read though.

I totally understand the tired thing. During planting and harvest, I go for 2 weeks on 2hrs sleep a day. We just finished up Tuesday, so hopefully I'll start getting some snoozing done... I like to get at least 4hrs/day! Sounds like you've got a fairly hectic schedule over the weekends.
