Does anyone have the backseat area of their 67-68 sheetmetal? From the rear deck shelf down to the floor. If so, how did you take the measurements or did you use a template? Also, the firewall. How did you attach the metal to the exsiting firewall. Screws?

Stevo- I made a panel out of masonite for the back seat divider. I used a large sheet of masking paper to make a template, if I remember correctly. Tar paper would be easier to use and be more accurate, I think.
I don't understand the second part of your question. What are you trying to do to the firewall? :confused:

Thanks Kyvox, I just want to cover the exsisting firewall with aluminum for a cleaner look. If it's gonna be free, why not. smile.gif
He said he could even stamp a design, like a bowtie, or a name in it too.
Tar paper, that's a good idea. It would hold up to the bending and not tear. I think. LOL smile.gif
