I went to Advance last night the guy carried me to a isle that had typical bolts in packs. I don't want general cheap grade bolts fo these. I want to use the right grade.

I find Fastenall to be a good source and you can get all grades, you would want GR 8 for the most part. I think ARP has kits that contain all you need and Gardner Westcott has engine stainless and chrome kits. Beware if you buy any stainless fasteners, I thought at one time Stainless Steel was automatically better, not true, there is some soft stuff out there. Buy from a reputable dealer and make sure they certify their product to be equivalent to GR 8 or better. I was a buyer for a company that got burned on this, that’s why I know. I have seen 3/8-16 twist off with less than 30 FT Lb.

You can print charts or order a thread gauge from these folks for under 2 bucks. http://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-information/Printable-Tools/
Or if you are close to Harbor Freight Tools, you can buy thier item #39240 for $1.99 to use to identify any bolts or nuts you need. Good luck

When I did my Elcamino motor I went to Hot Rod shop and bought bolt kit for 350 motor. I also get longer bolts not supplied from local Ace Hardware store. mine has a really big selection of all type's of fastner's.
