i have a 69 camaro with a small block. it already has a cowl hood on it. i was wondering if i where to put one of the small b&m or weiand superchargers on the motor will it still fit under a cowl hood or do i need a 4" fiberglass cowl hood. thanks for the help!

It is pretty tight under a Camaro hood, but I have heard that the Weiand 142 is pretty short and you do have a little extra room with the cowl hood. Maybe with one of those air cleaners that draws in from the sides rather than all around you could do it? You could also go with a centrifugal style.

i was planning on doing one of the small 142's or 144's from b&m or weiand because they are about half the cost. besides can you imagine the look on someones face when i pop the hood and there sits a super charger. i am grining already!

There's a nice 69 around here that runs one of those slim line blowers under the hood with the side draft air cleaner. Good luck ~ John
