We recently bought a house and in our search for one, one of the houses had a 65 Fairlane 500 in the garage. The owner has contacted me about buying it as he's out of state and parents have passed. Car is a pretty clean little floor shift model with buckets and original wheel covers and Ca. black plates. You can tell it was taken care of but not perfect.
Anybody know a safe price to pay for this thing?

I've actually been looking around at Fairlanes believe it or not ('67 though). About the only info I can pass on is if the fifth digit of the '65 VIN is a K, jump on it. It would be a hi-po 289 car and only around 100 were produced.
