Can't tell form the pictures he listed. The car is missing alot of it's correct pieces if it is an original. He states that it is numbers matching, but provides no proof. Also struck me funny that he said the assy code was V1231DZ. That is New Years Eve. Maybe the engine assembly plant was working that day, but seemed odd it me. If you are serious about the car, have someone that knows what to look for take a peak at it.

Doesnt look like a top dollar resto to me. Whats the VIN? Stampings on the rear, Engine and trans need to be verified. Alignment of the headlight doors, grille, rear panel where it meets the quarter. Many other issues.

Missing Bumper Guards, Deluxe seat belts for interior on a 711 coded car, Shifter not right, Most of the RS equipment is not there (Wiper motor, Washer Jar, No vacuum canister and lines). I'm not a z expert but this car very incomplete and I have not even looked it fully....

Ask him what the reserve is may be worth the reserve even if no a Z.....I like asking the reserve just to see if they tell the truth in the end.

The tag looks real. No VIN listed so can not correlate.

Everything else is a mess. A 72 72 PNT car would have white stripes. Rockers should be black. An RS would have rally-sport front fender and RS steering wheel emblems. Many missing/incorrect parts and finishes. And what is that alternator from??

Deluxe seat belts were an option with any interior.

Rear stripes are painted incorrectly (too narrow, too close together, and should not extend onto trunk lid), shifter is an aftermarket Competition Plus unit, brake vacuum booster should be plated instead of painted, original exhaust manifolds and smog equipment are absent, all underhood parts to operate the ZL2 flapper are missing, Pep Boys alternator, aftermarket plug wires, valve covers should be matte rather than polished, RS headlight washer valve absent from firewall, RS washer fluid reservoir absent, hoses for the windshield washer nozzles are absent, rear bumper guards absent, 302 emblems on hood are about 6 inches too far back, Z/28 fender emblems are mounted too low especially on passenger side, body should be painted black underneath the rocker spears, spare tire and jack equipment missing, thin chrome trim missing on door panels, bright trim surrounding the pedal pads is missing, the driver side tail pipe doesn't extend as far as the passenger side.

No photos are provided of the stampings on motor, trans, or rear, but the trim tag looks real to me. I suspect this car was not originally built with ZL2 or Z22, but it seems to be an original hugger orange X33 car.

I would like to see some nicer cars for that kind of money. Seems like everyone is trying to get 50-70k.

Reserve is 42k

At this price, you probably get new door panels and arm rests.
