Has anyone tried the new ZL1 block? I want to know how it worked out. Its very light and should make a good replacement for a small block-about the same weight.

It would be nice to try one if they were a little less expensive. camcojb Feb 14th, 05, 04:26 PM I'm in the process of assembling one (482 cid) for a friend. Nice piece, nice machining. Only complaint I had it that it needed clearancing at the bottom of the bores for the 4.25" crank; had plenty of clearance at the pan rails.
