I have 66 nova that i just got It has a 427 In It.The guy I got it from said Its out of a 69 camaro.The front pad says T1004cwu no vin,the back of the block # is 8999289 any help. thanks mike

Mike, the casting number is probably 3999289, which is a 72-75 454 (2 bolt main) block. the CWU indicates a 454/245 from a 73 full size passenger car (police car actually), or a 454/235 from a 74 full size passenger car (again, a police car).
